Our vision is a future where young people with osteoarthritis don't have to choose between quality of life and risk of serious surgical complications. We're developing a regenerative medical device to be used both as a standalone treatment for osteoarthritis and in combination with other emerging technologies to optimise patient outcomes. Our journey begins with knee osteoarthritis, of which 365 million people suffer worldwide; 37% are under 65-years-old, too young for joint replacement, and fall into a treatment gap of ineffective care. Symptoms of the disease have been described as "pain worse than death". These patients want to keep their natural joints and maintain peak physical performance.
