Vitality Medical Products, LLC

Vitality Medical Products, LLC, is a development stage company that was spun out of ProRhythm, Inc., for the development of a high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) system for totally non-invasive, incisionless, male sterilization, as an alternative to vasectomy. Three generations of the product prototype were developed, and full preclinical testing was conducted at Johns Hopkins University under the leadership of the former Vice Chair of Urology, Dr. Lou Kavoussi (later serving as the Chair of Urology, at Long Island Jewish Health System). Vitality Medical's mission was focused on an aggressive development and commercialization trajectory for the company, leading to a market launch or an exit through a strategic acquisition by a market leader in Urology.
