Surgeons use 2D medical imaging to plan their surgeries performed in a 3D world. For surgeons, current 2D medical imaging and even 3D digital renderings of those images do not always allow them to get a true feel for their surgical plan before entering the operating room. Bringing these images to life with a physical anatomical model provides doctors the opportunity to plan and practice the surgery.
