True-Spec Africa mission is to put end to the ‘‘African Pharmaceutical Genocide'' by reducing by 60 percent the number of deaths due to the consumption of counterfeit antimalaria drugs: that is 270 000 deaths avoided every year according to the J. Chirac Foundation (2015). True-Spec Africa aim is to enhance Africa's development by birthing real confidence in reliable pharmaceutical products among the entire African population. We also set out to ensure that the consumption of any pill truly corresponds, as it should, to a therapeutic effect rather than a harmful or even a potentially mortal effect.
